Now that spring is here, it is important to make sure that your irrigation system doesn’t get overlooked!
Systems need to be tested and adjusted every spring to verify proper coverage of spray heads and the integrity of drip lines. At the time of this writing, it isn’t yet necessary to begin watering existing plantings.
However, if you can’t resist and have a strong urge to irrigate… or you need to “water-in” new plantings, no more than a cycle of three days of watering over a seven day period are recommended.
Also, please always ensure that your irrigation system is turned off on days when your property will be maintained by our fantastic cutting crews. As much as the fellas may enjoy a refreshing blast of cool water, the quality of your cut is dramatically improved if the mower is cutting dry blades of grass.
